SKILLED TRADES CONTRACTOR

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Contractor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various construction trades and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This role involves collaborating on diverse projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and adhering to safety standards. The Contractor will be responsible for executing tasks related to renovation and maintenance, contributing to the successful completion of projects.

About Us:
A Girl and Her Brush Interiors is a woman-owned, detail-driven painting and renovation business based in Georgia. We’re growing and looking to expand our team with experienced Contractors who take pride in their craftsmanship, maintain professionalism, and are committed to delivering high-quality results to clients.

We are currently hiring contractors with at least 4 years of professional experience in:

• Interior Painting (Brush, Roll, and Spray)
• Staining (Furniture or Interior Surfaces)
• Drywall Installation & Repair (Patching, Skim Coating, Finishing)
• Carpentry & Cabinet Refinishing

Responsibilities

• Execute plastering, staining and painting tasks with precision and attention to detail.
• Interpret and work from schematics to ensure accurate project implementation.
• Maintain and renovate existing structures, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Perform trim carpentry, including installation of moldings and custom woodwork.
• Apply stucco finishes on exterior surfaces as required by project specifications.
• Utilize welding techniques for metalwork as needed in various projects.
• Install fixtures, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
• Build structures according to design specifications while maintaining quality standards.
• Conduct construction painting tasks, providing a finished look to completed projects.

Skills

• Detail-oriented with a clean finish style
• Experience with higher-end finishes or custom homes
• Able to communicate clearly and work independently or on a small team
• Proficiency in plastering techniques and materials.
• Strong understanding of schematics and blueprints for effective project execution.
• Experience in maintaining and renovating residential or commercial properties.
• Expertise in trim carpentry with an eye for detail in finishing work.
• Knowledge of stucco application processes and materials.
• Welding skills for metal fabrication and repairs are advantageous.
• Ability to install various fixtures with precision and care.
• Competence in building structures that meet safety regulations and client expectations.
• Familiarity with construction painting practices for interior and exterior applications.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience
• Must be dependable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct
• Reliable transportation and own tools/equipment
• General Liability Insurance required
• Must follow job-specific instructions and meet project deadlines
• No self-promotion, branded apparel, or client solicitation on job sites
